Leadership
Challenge™ Workshop
The Leadership Challenge Workshop has been described by
delegates as ‘a life changing experience’,
provoking them to break through self-imposed barriers
and expand their leadership abilities beyond what was
thought possible.
The workshop introduces the Five Practices of Exemplary
Leadership®; these practices resulted from an intensive
research project run by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner of
the Santa Clara Business School to determine the leadership
competencies that are essential to getting extraordinary
things done in organisations. The five leadership practices
that they discovered have been converted into a practical
operating system that can be applied by leaders in any
situation. The
Workshop is a blend of well-grounded research, logic,
practicality, heart and intuition. Participants learn
what leadership requires, how their own leadership behaviours
are perceived by others and how to develop highly prized
leadership skills.
Participants
leave with specific on the job commitments and action
plans for their own real-world challenges and situation.
The workshop can be delivered in versions of 1, 2 or
3 days, depending on the intensity and depth of experience
required. Read customer comments...

Leadership
in Action
The real test of any leader must be – did they make
a difference? Using a focus on action as the start point
for a leadership development initiative is therefore a
favoured approach for Tom Peters Company and several of
our clients.
A Leadership In Action initiative focuses on an aspect
of the business that needs to change. Candidates with
further leadership potential are then chosen, and invited
to become participants.
A Leadership in Action initiative requires careful
customisation and stewardship; the type of project chosen
is critical, as are the sponsorship, and the additional
scaffolding offered to participants.
The
launch of such projects can be bolstered by the use
of a number of TPC programmes. In particular, the WOW!
Projects philosophy is a perfect vehicle for a development
initiative of this kind; the energy and strategic focus
that results from the WOW! Projects approach gives a
payoff to all concerned - the individual that gets support
in their leadership development, the organisation through
the results of the project, and the rest of the organisation
through the increased leadership that people experience.
